The best way to see your credit improving is by paying all your past debts. Maximum credit scores are generated when an account gets paid. You will have review your credit report thoroughly and see if there are any inaccurate items reported. They lower the credit scores for no reasons. The credit bureaus will verify your dispute with the companies and update your file. Credit repair is no magic. You will have to give a lot of time and patience in doing this. At the same time, you need to have control in using credit and opening new accounts. Accounts with small credit history are not viewed nicely by the lenders.

Deidra, welcome to the boards:

The only thing that can really help you clean up your credit report is to pay your bills on time and clear up any debts that you have delinquent on your credit report. Have you checked your credit report recently? Have you noticed any discrepancies or debts that you haven't made? Have you noticed any debts that are now expired? You may be surprised to find many debts on your credit report that are either not yours or extinguished or paid for but the creditor never updated your credit report. Do you have any student loans that are delinquent?

Pull your credit report from the three different credit agencies and examine your report carefully. Report any discrepancies to the the credit bureaus.I find that with all those methods, you can clean up your credit report. It may take sometime, but it can be done.

But be real careful of those who promise credit repair. Most of those are scams.
