will lvnv show 2 times on your credit report?

i have a lvnv funding on my credit report that shows no payment history at all, the only other account on there is my sears account that i have been paying on for almost 2 years now. i think its the same account, will it show 2 times on there?


Yes it will show the origianl creditor and the collection agency. KYSIDE38

ok, the same account is on there 2 times, but only one shows my payment history, the other is basically screwing my credit report, what do i do?

If you are paying directly to Sears I would give Sears a call and ask if they ever had your account sent to LVNV.You need to know why LVNV is on your report.LVNV is mostly debt buyers and if they actually own your account then Sears normally wouldnt be taking your payments if it was sold ,not just turned into collections.If you find that your account is still with Sears I would dispute the LVNV account on your cr.Did you notice on your CR under Sears did it state sold to another lender?
