If I am watching the SOL for something on my credit report, do I go by the "Date of Last Activity" or "Date 1st Major Delinquency?" This is something on my Equifax credit report, but it's not on Transunion or Experian. Also, where would I find info on the SOL for Ohio? BTW, I can't dispute this item b/c it is actually something that I screwed up :(

SOL generally goes by your last payment date (or the last time that you acknowledged the debt in writing).

The 7-year period for an item to be removed from your credit report goes by the date-of-first-delinquency. However, if you bring the account current and then go delinquent again, it goes by the "most recent" date-of-first-delinquency.
