Company on credit report

it is called nca and it says for cash supply.i called cause i havent heard of either one. they said it was my ssn but a different name stated i should send my id but i fill funny doing this as they may have some underhanded approach

I would not send them any personal information, from what I've heard NCA is not too good to deal with. If I were you I would make them send you a debt validation letter and then you could sort if out from there, you may recognize the original creditor once you get the DV letter.

Have you ever had any payday loans? These places do business under many different names. I agree that you need to send them a debt validation letter and make them prove to you that you owe this. Do not send them a copy of your id!!!! Don't send them anything but that letter.

i had a payday loan through a storefront but it was many years ago and i paid it off. i think it was in 1998 or 99 not sure. when i ask them what info they had they stated the last 4 of my ss#. but a different name and an address i dont know.he said he had my dl i saod what is the number he rattled off some number but it wasnt mine.

Even if there any outstanding balance and you haven't done any payment since that time period, it is already past the seven years reporting time as per the FCRA laws. It is too late for them to hire any CA and make them report on your file.

Can you go through your previous records and find proof of payment of this account? It will be a big proof in resolving this matter.
