I was looking for some input or opinions on Lexington Law for credit repair.

I know most of you are going to tell me that they can't do anything that I can't do myself, but the truth of the matter is, I have tried to do this myself, and I have had some success, but overall not much. I tried the DV route, disputing route, etc. I have gotten maybe three or four things deleted in the last 3 years!

Anyway, if anyone has dealt with them or a similar credit repair agency I would love to hear your opinions. TIA!

Have you done a search on here for Lexington Law? I don't blame you for not wanting to do it yourself as it is alot of work, but then again you don't want to get ripped off either. Have you thought about maybe Town & Country Acceptance. Have you had a free debt consultation through this website? They will give you valuable information. Give them a call at 1-800-601-1579.

Just make sure you check with the BBB before you hire someone/business to handle these issues for you.

I did read up on here and also over on creditboards and people seem to have mixed feelings about them. I think I might give it a shot though.

The problem is most of my debts are REALLY old and are either charged off/in collection. So, my options are either to wait it out for them to fall of my CR, or try to get them off now. To be honest, I am very sick of waiting. So, I guess I'll see what happens.

Personally you need to figure out how close to falling off your credit report they are. If it close to the statute of limitations I would think you would want to let them just to fall off.

The reason why I say this is from what I have read that once you start to make payments on an old debt that reages it :? . I could be totally wrong so do not take what I have said to you to heart. I don't want to lead you down the wrong path  . Other more knowledgable people will be along to assist you.
