Custody and bad credit

If so, what kinds of answers or proof can you provide that yes, you messed up but it doesn't make you a bad parent.
Also, I was in a bad relationship, I had bad credit to begin with then my child's father, stole the only 2 bills going to his address I had lived there and moved out and has kept them from me, so the bills have escalated (i didnt have the info on the bill) and he just brought it up in court.
Yes he stole my mail and currently has possession of it and no one seems to think that is a big deal since our 3 year old shares our dna. I am thinking of filing a police report since he also has possession of my soc. number, he put it on all our court papers.
Can anyone give some insight??
Thanks, J
I don't think that a poor credit history will hamper your chanc
I don't think that a poor credit history will hamper your chances on getting your child's custody.
Factors that play significant part in deciding the custody of child are: -

While moving out from your ex-husband's place you should have written to your creditor about sending your bill to your present address. In this way you could have kept a track of your debt.
