unverifiable debt still on CRA

I disputed an item with the CRA’s as being not mine. The CRA’s sent me to the original creditor claiming they received validation the debt was accurate. The original creditor told me the account was a 1999 charge off and they can’t validate it or determine who originated the debt. Have a letter from the original creditor stating the account is unverifiable. CRA’s still refuse to delete it.
