This shows on my experian credit report under good standings. Should I be concerned and/or what actions can I take to get it removed? I found under FCRA ??605 (a) and (b), an account in collection will appear on a consumer's credit report for 7.5 years. The clock starts approximately 180 days after the date of first delinquency on the account. Is this correct and are they violating FCRA?

The clock would start ticking on your first date of delinquency or a month after you first missed your payment and would stay on your credit report for the total duration of 7.5 years. IMO you must dispute it with the credit reporting agency.
