Loan must be removed from my credit report
Date: Fri, 08/30/2013 - 04:04
My wages was garnished for a mortgage loan I had taken out on my home in Sumiton. The loan has been completely repaid now. Should the loan still be there on the credit report?
No it will not be removed.
No it will not be removed. It will continue to report for 7 years from the date of first deliquency.
Pretty much anything that is
Pretty much anything that is reported to the credit reporting agencies, that are legit, will stay on your credit report for 7 years, unless you file bankruptcy, which in that case stays on your report for 10 years. Sometimes things get reported that may not be yours, or something like that, which in that case, you would need to dispute it, but with what you have, as Soaplady said, it will be there for 7 years/.
