Responsibility of an authorised user

Authorized users have no responsilbity and the creditor cannot come after you. Tell them you want to be removed.

If the tradeline is left on the credit report, it will affect the score negatively.

I've asked Citibank to remove my daughter as an authorized user and they won't until the account is paid off......Is there anything I can do?

An Authorized user has no liability to make the payments on the credit card , however can use the card . The credit scores of the authorized user is also not affected because his credit details are not given to the bank at the time of application . However the credit scores of the Joint account holder as well as the Primary account holder is affected in case they default on the payments .
