Can I call my original creditor and ask for info
Date: Mon, 03/30/2009 - 13:04
I have looked at my credit report and its not that great as anticipated. I have received letters from WWR and LVNV Telling me about my debt. I'm pretty sure they bought it from WAMU/Providian. I will post the info below. My question is can I call the original creditor and ask them what they did with my account? Here is what It says on my credit report. It says balance 0. Would I ever have to pay them back since it says sold to another lender? Thanks for all your help.

Hate to say this but once it is sold off to another lender then
Hate to say this but once it is sold off to another lender then you (90% of the time) have to deal with whoever bought it. You can ask them who they sold it to, but it might have traded hands 2 or 3 times now. So good luck
Thanks count! Last question will the original creditor ever try
