How long would it take to repair my credit after bankruptcy?

Last year I was out of job and had to file bk for the whooping amount of debt of $70k. However, I have recently started looking for job and am expecting to be working soon. I'm worried that the creditor might run my credit report and find the bankruptcy listed and eventually deny me the employment.
What is the best way to repair my credit? Can I get the bankruptcy removed?
How long would it take to repair the credit anyway so that I don't get denied?

In this economy, employers are not so critical on bankruptcies.
In this economy, employers are not so critical on bankruptcies. You cannot get the bankruptcy removed and repairing your credit is going to take time. Start with a secured card and work at it slowly. Go over your credit report and look for any errors and accounts that are not reporting correctly...those you can dispute.
