Is there a Better Business Bureau for Attorneys?
Are there questions I should be asking, or things I need to know before paying a retainer?

Hi Hope you can help me. My lawyer got my mom on medicaid 4 years ago. She has passed away. The lawyer hasnt billed me as yet and seems to be stalling because my moms house is now for sale. What state are you in? The SOL might have passed now for him to even collect a dime from the estate. If the SOL has not passed, he would have to go thru estate settlement like everyone else.

I don't know what state he's in ... I am trying to find "Peter F
I don't know what state he's in ... I am trying to find "Peter Fish" who is apparently the attorney for Palisades who signed my settlement agreement, but I can't find anything on him .... I tried his name and about a dozen different states, nothing came up in the search engines other than one document from a bankrupcy judge who referred to him as someone who "purported to represent Palisades".
