I got discharged from a bankruptcy in May 2010, have been trying to apply for secure credit card to start building my credit again but keep getting turned down. Checked all 3 reports & seems complicated. Do you think using a “credit repair service” this early after bankruptcy will make any difference and will raise my scores? Thanks.

Dont waste your money on those services...most of them are scams. If your former creditors are reporting you "included in bankruptcy" or something to that effect, and have a zero balance, they are entitled to report and nothing is going to force them to remove their tradeline. You might need to ride the reporting SOL out.

Have you tried Wells Fargo secured card??
