I have a paid in full letter from a CA but on my credit report, it is still showing that I owe them.  I want to send all three CB's a letter telling them to appropriately fix this on my report but I'm not exactly sure what to include in the letter, Does anyone have advice and should they be sent certified mail?
Thank you : )

That is very true and I think many folks misunderstand how the CRAs work. Derrogatory information can remain on your credit report for up to 7 years unless the creditor requests to the CRA to remove it earlier.
??
I have gotten some information removed from my report early, and have had some drop of because it was too old. You can dispute it to reflect the correct balance or paid in full. It doesnt hurt to try disputing it to get it removed either. Equifax have been great in working with me.
??
Best of Luck

Oh wow. You definately need to dispute this with the CRAs and get it updated on your report. Good creditors will update your account status every 30 days??with the CRAs.
??
However, some companies may not update your credit report unless you asled. It happened to me as well.. I had an old debt on my report from 2001 that was never updated. Now I monitor my credit report monthly to ensure everything is updated.

I would dispute this as incorrect balance, incorrect status, and incorrect updates on trade line. Do this by mail and do not send the credit bureaus that letter just yet as it will only cement the account on your report for the full reporting period. If they don't respond to dispute, you can get it dropped off reports.
