Old Charged off Account

I had a Capital One account that was charged off over ten years ago.
For the past couple years a collection agency has been trying to collect on the account.
Nothing shows on my credit report about this account.
I realize that I owe this debt, and would like to pay it. My question is, if I pay the collection agecny, will they then be able to list the account on my credit report?
