Capital One Account that has been satisfied that Midland Funding has bought but still is being reported as not satisfied. How do I get this off the credit report as not being satisfied?
Thank you,

Any negative item will remain in your credit report for 7 years. If you've paid off the Capital One Account, then they cannot sell off the debt to Midland Funding again. You must have documents stating that you've paid off the debts in full. You can show the documents to Capital One and ask them to withdraw the account from Midland Funding and also ask them to report the balance to the credit bureau as zero.
