I moved out of my home state two years ago this january to be with the man i love. things were great until be both lost our jobs at the same time. and were living off of my credit cards. which all got over limit during that time. and i kept applying for more and more. finally we both got back to work. and now we've been where we have been living for over a year but i'm still trying to catch up. it's totally destroyed my credit

Welcome to the forum pj. U can call the 800 number on the side that says need help with debt and talk to someone to discuss any options available for u.
Stick around and things will start to improve, one step at a time!
Good luck,
Ang
P.S. And yes it DOES get better and u WILL get out of the hole, just takes lots of work to do!

Hello pj...My situation has improved drastically in a short time. I won't go into detail but I was like you and had credit card debt... also payday loan problems. Credit card companies are alot easier to work with than pdls...so just stick around ask questions and a debt counselors are here to help. You can decide what's best for your situation. Good luck to you!

Hi! There is hope, not only does this forum off you your free consultation like Ang suggested, you'll see that there are many others that have experienced something similar to your situation or are going through it now like Laura mentioned. We had quite a bit of credit card debt and like you my fiance who's now hubby, and I had to live off of credit with no jobs to support ourselves. even when we became employed again the wages were too low to make a dent in the principal of our credit card debts, rather all our money or most went to living expenses and what we could pay on the cards was the minimum if we were lucky. have you thought about consolidation? if so let us know and we can maybe help you, just by giving you our experiences...but also i think the first thing to do is contact a debt professional from this site as you can go into more detail with them when they contact you and come up with more options that may suite your financial needs better. good luck and please keep in touch
