The age of credit basically denotes how long the accounts have been open. The age of credit is determined by the number of months and years your accounts have been open. The average age of accounts is called credit age. Suppose, you have 2 accounts. The first one is 3 years old and the second one is 5 years old, then your average credit age is 4 years.

Age of credit constitutes 15% of your credit score.
