Most credit card companies have secure online areas for their customers. You can check there. You can also check your credit report to see if it has showed up.
But it's probably okay, when you activate the card, it requires you to verify certain information from the telephone that you put on the application.

Yeah, that's what I'm gathering. "1200 Km away about sanction" isn't exactly the way to San Jose....
But they could be from another country and now residing in the US, and so English is not their first language, so I took the question as honestly asked.
But if they actually are overseas, hopefully they realize that any answers at all on this board may be completely inappropriate for their situation.
