I have a credit card debt that has not been paid off but has been on my credit score for 8 years. Can I get it off

Usually, negative items may remain on your credit report for 7 years. Anyways, if you want to get it off, then you may contact with your creditors. You may negotiate with them and work out a better repayment plan. You can request your creditors to update your account status as ???Paid-as-settled??? or ???Paid-as-agreed??? and remove the negative listings from your credit report after repaying the debt.
