Can a "charge off" be changed?
Date: Wed, 01/02/2008 - 08:00
Currently, I'm in a position to pay off all of my debts by the end of 2008. I am currently making payments on time to all of my creditors and want to make sure that my credit reports reflect accurate information. There are some things I am going to dispute but I was wondering about those nasty charge-offs.
I understand what a charge off status of an account means on their business end for their books but I'm wondering if that has to be a concrete listing on my reports? If I am making payments that we've both agreed on to get it paid off, is it possible to change that negative mark to a positive one?

Ask your creditors to do a rule 5000 reage of accounts after pay
Ask your creditors to do a rule 5000 reage of accounts after payment. This changes everything to paid as agreed and only works if the original creditors have retained ownership of their account.
Thanks! Is there some kind of letter that will help with that?
