I settled 3 Chase accounts and had the settlement agreement sent to me and the whole 9 yards. I paid them in 4 payments, recieved a letter stating my account was settled after completing the payments. Fast forward to Friday. I get my TransUnion Credit report and all the Chase accounts are marked with a 0$ balance and settled on them. In the top right corner of all the accounts it states " Paid after charge off / collections" My question to the recovery dept. on Monday is going to be - why does it state that if I agreed to settle before charge off? Are the including the 90 days it took to pay as another 90 days pass due? Any help would be appreciated?
