Planning to consolidate my debt with balance transfer cards. I have qualified for both Chase Freedom Unlimited and HSBC Gold Mastercard. Which one should I choose?

A balance transfer is a good idea to repay debts. However, you should shop around for a low-interest card. Make sure you repay the money within the introductory period.

Which card is offering the best terms and conditions? Don't just look only at the interest rate, read the other terms and conditions, too, to make your decision.

Well, I would have opted for the HSBC Gold Mastercard because the teaser rate is applicable for the first 18 months. On the other hand, in case of the Chase Freedom Unlimited Card, the introductory period is available for only 15 months. You're getting extra 3 months to pay off the transferred balance in case of the HSBC Gold Mastercard.

You must compare and then choose the card which gives you maximum benefits. AS David said, I think HSBC Gold Mastercard would be best for you.
