Well, I would have opted for the HSBC Gold Mastercard because the teaser rate is applicable for the first 18 months. On the other hand, in case of the Chase Freedom Unlimited Card, the introductory period is available for only 15 months. You're getting extra 3 months to pay off the transferred balance in case of the HSBC Gold Mastercard.
