Question about SCAN...
Date: Tue, 09/04/2007 - 08:41
Over the years I have had several checking/savings accounts with different banks and credit unions. When I contacted SCAN they said I needed each bank name, routing & account number. I don't remember any of this information and according to the banks, they have "wiped" me from their records. Can't SCAN just run on my name & DL # since that is what is getting my check declined anyhow?
Oh and does the same 7 year reporting apply to SCAN & Chexsystems? Should I only worry about accounts and/or check written within the last 7 years?
