Closing Credit card A/C

Hello Everybody,
I am in under debt of credit cards so.
If i closing my credit card account, will they effect my credit score, which is already bad.
What should i do to close my credit card account?
Please give me more information about this subject, your help is very helpful for me.

You need to call up the customer care department number (see the back of your card) and tell the representative that you want to close your account. Also you must send a follow up letter for a written record of your request.
