Does it hurt your credit score to have numerous accounts even if they are all closed account with no negative history?

Closed accounts with no negative history is good. However, it's always suggested not to increase the debt ratio by closing an account and transferring the remaining balance to a new account. Credit card balance is always linked to the credit limit. Your credit scores get lower if you transfer the negatives of one account to another. Since your accounts are in positive shape, it doesn't harm your scores either.
