Collections deleted from account but score is the same?

Hello all-
I disputed 4 collections on my credit report (in attempt to repair my damaged credit), and today I got the results....3 out of the 4 were not verified, and the 3 are suppose to be deleted from my credit. I jumped for joy, and rechecked my credit report. The collections are no longer there, but my credit score is still the same! It hasn't gone up or down or anything. I have heard numerous stories of success when people get collections deleted from their accounts, but I am beginning to believe it is all hocus pocus. The collections were small items (all under $100 each), could this have anything to do with it? Does my score automatically update once these items are deleted? Any anysight would be helpful! Plz and thank you!

Even though they were small, they should still have a positive impact on your credit score. It might be a small increase but it will be an increase. Scores aren't updated automatically, in my experience. I would re-check in a couple weeks.

Its possible you may not see an increase, if there are other factors still hurting your score. For example, the the 3 accounts you got removed were +4 yrs old and the one that stayed was less than 2 yrs old, it's likely a score increase would not occur.
The best way to get a score increase is to have newer information. Unfortunately, its usually harder to do.
Good Luck!
