Sent Certified Letters/Return Receipt

I pulled my CR and noticed a ton of things reported on it. So I DV'ed all the companies. I checked the tracking today on all of them... out of the 6 - 3 have not been delivered. Of those 3 - 2 are being returned to me because they were unable to deliver due to the company moving and not leaving a forwarding address or the company is unknown.
So the companies have either gone out of business or what have you. I looked up ALL those addresses on the internet - sending the letters to their most recent addresses.
What happens when the company has gone out of business or you can't find them? How do you remove them from your CR?
