Judgement

We are about to buy a house and I am wanting to find out if a judgement that was placed against me over ten years ago will effect me being able to buy a house? And I have a car I am about to pay off, can they take it away from me to cover the judgement?

You might face issues in buying the property if the judgement hasn't been satisfied. The title company and also the lender would require the proof of satisfying the judgement at the time of closing.
