How can I protect my credit score during pandemic? What are the bare minimum steps I should take to atleast keep my credit score where it is?

If you can't make payments, ask if you can join any hardship program. Ask its effect on your credit score as well. Keep your credit utilization ratio below 30%.

Use your credit card only when required. Make sure you can afford the bill. Pay the bill in full and with in time. IT is simple. Cut down unnessesary expenses. Pay the utility bill on time.
