Has the collection agency validated the account for which they are reporting negatively on your file? It is illegal to continue reporting inaccurate items if they have failed to prove.
Before reporting to the bureaus, creditors, collectors have to notify the borrower within five business days. It is for accurate items only. Inaccurate items need to be disputed and removed asap.

Well I dont know, I asked for verification what ever that means via transU,equifax, and experian. Tranunion says verified yet I have never heard of these accounts. I have written letters asking for signed contracts etc, and I get a bill on the collection agencies letterhead. I recently received a letter from a collection agency about a medical bill I thought my insurance paid last month. Their letter said I had 30 days before they would report it to the bureaus. I paid it as I owed it and received a receipt and statement it would not appear on my credit file. Since I had never heard of the other accounts etc listed on my credit file I figured I would try to attack all angles as I never received a notice from the companies about the debt. What gets me is that some of these accounts look to be the same one sold to another agency over and over. Some are the same amount so my credit looks like poo. In Feburary when I was forced to buy a car I had a 585, I pay my payments on time yet, now my score is 504? I had no new debt or accounts just the same one being listed again and again. I have sent certified letters recently to the bureaus and the collection agencies. My past letters only got a response stating we have reported your account as disputed to the credit bureaus. I have true credit online and not a single account is listed as such.
Keep in mind, your credit report should list the accurate items
Keep in mind, your credit report should list the accurate items from your creditors and the collection agencies. When you have disputed certain item with the CRA and you don't agree to the verification done, it is your right to ask for proof of the investigation.
It looks like the CRA is keeping all items as reported by the creditors. Can you call the original company and find out the latest status of your debts? Besides, if you can show proof of the debts being paid, you will be in a better position to deal with the collectors and keep them away from you.
