I got CJ account a few months ago, bought an item, paid it in full and yesterday I realized they stopped reporting to EX and are still on TU.
any ideas whats up? they do not answer my email? usually they are very good with email answering.

thanx

Same issue here, my account first hit my EQ on 6/5... increased it by 13 points..... the on 6/6 the account was removed... and the 13 points... I called EQ and was informed it was removed at the request of CJ.... Sent a msg to CJ that I wont buy another thing until they start reporting again.. if they are going to stop reporting permanently, I think I will send what I bought back and get a refund and close the account

"The major problem with these creditors is that, some of them do not report to all the three bureaus. I think that Crown Jewelers only reports to TU and so your TU report reflects the credit history from CJ."

Yeah, but how much do you want to bet that if someone stopped paying them how quickly they wouldnt hesitate to report to ALL 3 despite the cost?

To All Valued Customers:

Due to many calls from our customers to our company regarding Experian not reporting their accounts, we decided to send emails to all of our customers describing the problems our company is having with Experian.

We submitted our data to Experian for month of May 2009 in the first week of June 2009 as we normally do. Experian emailed us back declaring Experian received the data from our company. After receiving many calls regarding our accounts not being on Experian credit report, we called Experian and told us they will no longer accept data from us and refused to provide us with a reason over the phone.

We have engaged our legal department to resolve the issue with Experian as quickly as possible. It looks like it will take some time to get the situation fixed as it seems a lot of the communication between our company and Experian have to be done by mail. Unfortunately, we don't expect our company???s accounts to appear on your Experian credit report anytime soon.

Please note that we strongly believe that consumers should have the right to have their good payment history reported on all credit bureau reports so all creditors can make a more informed decision and we will try our best to resolve the issue and pursue every reasonable effort in rectifying this matter.

We hope the issue will be resolved soon and will not have any answers for you until we have some written response from Experian. We would appreciate your patience and not calling us regarding the issue with Experian as we will notify all of our customers by e-mail any updates regarding this matter.

As of now your accounts are still being reported to TransUnion.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

As of June 22, 2011, Crown Jewelers does not report to ANY of the credit bureaus. I recently opened an account in order to help my credit and when I inquired about the time it would take to report, I receive a response that they do NOT report any longer to any of the cbr's.

When any party enters into a reporting agreement with a CRA, they sign a reporting agreement, binding them to certain conditions. I have no idea why Ex terminated their agreement with the OC, but it appears they did. That is a legal hassle to which you are not a part.
If Ex wont honor credit reporting from this OC, you will have to live with it unless the OC resolves it. I dont think that the OC is providing you the full story.
