Can date of removal differ from CRA to CRA?

I have 2 accounts with CITI that are supposed to come off in 5/09 because their SOL has expired. Transunion should remove them but Experian shows a different date of removal for the same accounts, 06/2012. Can they do that??

Don't confuse SOL with Federal reporting period. Reporting period is max 7 years + 180 days from the Date of First Default. Call all 3 CRA's and ask for the DOFD as reported by the data furnisher for the accounts. Add 7.5 years and you will have the exact date of removal.
