Response to debt verification letter

I finally received a response to my debt verification letter. It included a statement from the credit card holder showing the past due amount. Nothing else.
My question is, is that all that is required or are they required to provide me with the exact transactions that were made to incur the debt, e.g., signed receipts, names of the stores where the purchases were allegedly made, etc.?
