I just had an account deleted from my Experian credit report. After trying to locate my account with the collection agency and being unsuccesful, I disputed the account and it got deleted after an investigation. But this account is still showing in my other two credit reports. I thought experian was supposed to notify the other bureaus. Am I wrong?
What's the best thing for me to do? Thanks!

It's very common nowadays that one credit bureau has removed your account from your credit report but the other two hasn't. What you can do now is to send letters of dispute to each of the credit bureaus to have the information investigated and corrected on each of your credit reports.

Equifax and TransUnion both accept online as well as mailed letter of dispute. You can attach a copy of the credit report from Experian along with their respective reports. Also, attach copies of your account records, communication records, etc.

The account will be removed within a short time following the investigation. To make sure that the account is removed from the report, do a credit check after a few days.

I thing that the obama administration should pass a bill, asking the the major credit agency to remove all our negative reports as soon we pay them all... like that we won't have to be punish for so many years. Like others europeans contry wants you pay automatic your crdit is clean... and you our free again... let's pushing theme do that...
