i disputed an item that was a couple of years old, for about 140$. two credit bureaus deleted them and collector had ignored my several CMRR letters to validate the debt.
can I expect the item to reappear on my file? what can I do about this? thx

the debt is for a bad check which I supposedly wrote. I don't remember it, it was never sent to me. I was away from the US for a year and when I got back I saw it on my credit file. the Coll.agency keeps ignoring my letters. TU and EQ deleted it and EX is still working on it. what can I do to make sure it does not reappear. I can pay for it if it is mine but CA simply does not talk to me at all. thx

If it reappears then dispute it again. Experian is horrible, there is a class action suit against them for keeping a bad mark on people's credit reports even when the collection agency does not even attempt to verify the debt.

File a complaint against Experian with the FTC.
