I am trying to clean up my credit report. One entry that is reporting negatively is Captial One. The Status is closed. Last reported was January 2008. When does this actually fall off the credit report?

Yeah, don't look at last reported but rather date of first delinquency (which is the last time you made a payment as mentioned above). That determines your fall off date.

One tip..if you are going to attempt to dispute it, wait until AFTER your SOL expires, as Crapone is sue happy.

It is going to be a while before you see it gone from your report. The effects are going to wear out with time.
