I was looking over my last credit report last night and noticed that while Experian and Equifax only list the last few numbers on my credit card account, Transunion shows the whole beginning! S essentially if someone were to look at my report they could get my credit card #! I was wondering why Transunion wasn't reporting on that card, then I noticed that the card was listed again and that's when I saw the numbers. Has anyone else noticed that? Can I get them to change they way they are posting that one? It seems to be the only one they did that on.
Different creditors report to different agencies. Some only repo
Different creditors report to different agencies. Some only report to one, some to two and some to all three! The same goes with checking credit. You can get turned down by one and accepted by another if they do not use all three!
I think I was misunderstood. Transunion is reporting on the car
I think I was misunderstood. Transunion is reporting on the card as well but they post the first digits of the card number while Equifax and Experian show the last few. All 3 are being reported to it's just that it's showing up separately on my report.
