I have 12 entries on my Experian CR from Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) for parking tickets of various types in Hawaii. In 2008 I became seriously ill and could no longer drive. I had a friend sell the vehicle for me; he however did not submit the required transfer form. These tickets are for 40-60 dollars each, so I am looking at $550 or more. I can appeal the tickets, but they sure make it hard. First this can only be done in extreme circumstances, you have to file an appeal form for EACH ticket AND you have to submit a bond (payment) for the amount of each ticket.

I don't have any record of the sale of the vehicle due to medical conditions that made me become an invalid and be flown to California to my daughters. All of my belongings and papers in Hawaii were disposed of. I came home only with a suitcase.

I am not sure that these tickets are having a lot of affect on my CS; which is not good. I do have a couple of entries on other unpaid debt listed on all the CRAs. My Experian and Equifax scores are the same even though these MSB entries are only listed under Experian. There are no entries for these under Equifax or TransUnion.

Are these in face having an effect on my CS. Any suggestions?

If there are parking tickets issued against your name and if they have been reported to your credit bureaus, then naturally they will have a negative affect on your credit report. You may have a word with an attorney and take his/her opinion in order to deal with MSB.
