what letter do I send first

I've checked my credit report and none of my accounts have been sold yet; all but three have been closed. What is the first letter I send and to what address do I send it to? The P.O. Box listed? How long will these creditors wait for their $ ? I'm 120 days past due. I'd like to work this process like a settlement company would do, is this a reality for regular folks? Appreciate all the advice.:)

What exactly are you trying to do? Settle? Debt manage? Usually for settlements, negotiations are faster and more efficient if done over the phone. If you come to an agreement, have them fax you a settlement letter.
