QUESTION:
i am probably jumping the gun here but A) how can i obatain my credit report for free ...if not what is the cost?
B if there is a dispute or error what is the best course of action in having it remover or corrected??

annualcreditreport.com they will let you obtain your CR once per year at no cost.just when they ask if you want to see your score it does cost.when you go on just click the no thanks on that.you can see all three major agencies.to dispute just click the dispute area,and you can do it right there.

For disputes be specific in what is wrong to avoid the computer button and send it in writing to the bureaus.I have a sticky explaining all this at the topic of this subforum.
