Equifax credit report.......

Or lack there of. I have been able to get my credit report from Transunion and Experian on line. I have tried several different times to try to get one from Equifax and today when it finally let me get to the request page, I get this note that pops up and says I can't access this, there has been a possible credit freeze on my account, and they want me to send all this information I'm not comfortable sending in the mail to request one that way, and also I will need this 10 digit number they gave me for the freeze.
A few years ago I did call them as we believe my identy was compromised by a so called friend, but I caught it early thank god. I do not remember them sending me a number for anything, if they had it would be in my file cabinet and I have nothing. They said that the freeze would only be for 90 days and to keep a check on my credit and if anything else showed up to let them know. Nothing else showed up and it's now been 3-4 years since that time, and I want to get their report so I can check it against the others. Is there anyway to get them to send me one, the one time I talked to someone they said without that 10 digit number they won't give me anything. I don't know what to do, thanks.

I suggest you send them a letter asking for your credit report.
I suggest you send them a letter asking for your credit report. Include a copy of your SSN and ID...they will not misuse it like a CA would. By law they have to give you your report. Simply inform them that you never received any number and you demand a copy of your report or you will be forced to take them to court. Trust me...you will get your report. They hate being sued.
