Update - I spoke to the creditor and after 3 months of dispute and weekly chats with customer service, the "foreclosure" notation has been taken off of my credit report. However, the creditor still has not updated the balance to zero. I have waited 120 days for my credit report to be updated.
The last I heard was my credit report was stating a balance since the account was not "closed" on all of the systems yet. I requested in investigation and was promised that the update should happen in 15 business days - 10 have passed. I will call to get update next Monday (16th BD).
