How soon can I ask for a credt limit increase after getting a credit card?

I am using Chase credit card since the last 2 months. The credit limit is really low. Can I ask for a credit limit increase now?

It's too early. It's just 2 months. Make on-time payments for 6 months at least and then request for a credit limit increase.
By the way, why do you want to increase your credit limit so soon? Are you planning to buy something?
