I could really use some help. I had 2 CO's that were turned over to collections. For stupid reasons I won't go into, the CA's obtained judgments. Both have been paid as of December 2008.
I am finally getting my head out of the sand and dealing with the credit mess I made. Is there anyway to get these items off of my credit report? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, they did get in touch with me. At the time there was so much personal stuff going on I just ignored them and the summons and complaint hoping it would all go away. I know it was stupid on my part but I'll have to live with it. One was paid through garnishment and the other I paid outright. Now I'm just trying to get back on track and clean up this mess i made.

it sounds like we really have very similar credit stories.

i am in month 3 of my credit repair strategy. basically i am trying a combination of different things: debt validation letters, goodwill letters, pay for delete letters, request to delete credit inquiries, etc.

i started with 11 collection accounts on my credit file and had deleted about 5 as of last friday. i'm excited to see what the progress will be in the coming months.

what do you want to do and hope to accomplish with your credit file?
