Does anyone have any thoughts on how to handle a judgment that is showing up on my Equifax? The information is inaccurate in that the last name is misspelled - not just on the CR but also on the judgment itself, which is why I had no knowledge of it since it never popped up. It is an old dispute with a landlord that I didn't even know about until it showed up on my Equifax report. The landlord is long gone and never excuted the writ to enforce the judgment. The listing on my CR contains all kinds of inaccurate information but I want to make sure I word the dispute letter correctly the first time. Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to have a judgment removed from your credit report if the information listed has an error? For example, misspelled name? How do I word a dispute to the CRA to remove due to error? I tried an online dispute about a year and a half ago and it came back verified. I left it alone but I'm really wanting to try disputing it again since it is incorrect. Any thoughts?
