I have some things on my credit report that going to drop off in 2013. Do i need to contact the company to pay it off so they can remove it completely off of my credit report? Or just leave it only and let it drop off in 2013?

Really depends.. are you trying to buy a house? If not, let it go. Paid collections do not help your credit score, only your report when a mortgage officer looks at your credit report. Don't worry about it if you aren't trying to get a mortgage

Question that the answer should help all - When old negative items cycle off of your credit report, does that then boost your score?
