this is the first time ive seen my credit report and that LVNV Funding is on it but it says i paid it. well the sears card is still on it saying i owe them, if ive paid the collection agency doesnt that mean that the other should be taken care of? and what does charge off mean? im new to all this
Charge off means that the original creditor has written off your
Charge off means that the original creditor has written off your balance as a loss. If you paid LVNV funding for a Sears account that you defaulted on, both will show on your credit report. Sears would show as a charge off and LVNV would show as a paid collection.
