Should have several accounts that either dropped, or will be dropping, from credit report by the end of this year.
Gotta get copies of my reports, so I can be sure.
Where can I obtain copies of credit report, that WON'T cost me anything, or require a non existant credit card?

Anyway, last I recall paying anything was maybe mid year 2000.
Nothing since. As I recall, Colorado SOL is 6 years. Which means things should have fallen last year?

Recieved a so called settlement letter about a month ago.
Never replied, as I ended up in the Hospital, with severe blood clot in leg and lungs. Resulting in me passing out a couple of times!
Thankfully, I paid my truck off IN FULL during that time.
Now, have extra money available to get hospital bills paid.

What can I do if negative items still show on credit report, that should have been removed by now? Don't recall getting anything from most of them in the past either.

Anyway, information is much appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi Kchahn,

If there is any wrong or false entry into your credit report then you can remove it by sending a dispute letter to the CR agency. After you dispute them, CR agency verifies the same with the concerned Creditor or CA or whoever reported it. They will take one month to resolve the matter. If they find your claim to be true then they will remove it from your report.
